What is energy management?

Energy management is about using your body’s natural rhythms to work more efficiently, ensuring that your energy levels are optimised throughout the day. While time management focuses on scheduling tasks within available hours, energy management prioritises when you’re physically and mentally at your best. You can improve energy management by understanding your daily energy peaks and lows and adjusting your tasks accordingly.

How do you manage energy instead of time?

  • Stay hydrated and fuel properly: Energy slumps often have a lot to do with what (or when) you eat and drink. Stay hydrated and fuel your body with nutrient-dense meals to sustain energy. Ensuring your meals are a combination of protein, fibre and fat is where balanced nutrition begins.
